You won't want to miss this! Whether or not you participate in the tour, you'll definitely want to make your way to downtown Madison to snag a coffee from Perk Avenue (I recommend the Cinn & Tell) and check out the festive shops and sales going on during the tour. There are many lunch destinations downtown I'd recommend, and a day in Madison would be a fantastic day trip for Athens or Atlanta-area residents. Come check it out!

Some of the work I've loved best is far from my most popular. If I was a different kind of writer, it might make me doubt myself. But oddly, it doesn't change my love for the work. Honestly, I still love what I love, and I write what I enjoy writing. If you love it, so much the better! If you don't, I still do. I think that's a healthy attitude to have in this business. You can't please everyone; you're not tacos, right?
