Big News!!!

Hello, Readers.
Right now, there's a big focus on supporting local. I think sometimes writers and artists get overlooked in this. I think this pandemic has clarified just how important art in all its forms is to life, as we survive with our books, movies, music, and art. If you can afford to do so, please consider supporting writers, too.
For a limited time, Left on Main (the e-book) is available for .99 on Kindle. Even if you've read it already, please share this deal with your family and friends. Most of my events for Spring have been canceled in the wake of COVID-19 precautions, and I'm relying on online sales to make up for canceled in-person events.
If you can't afford to support writers and other artists financially, you can also share our work, leave reviews, and recommend it to those you know. This is still a huge help, and it doesn't cost you anything but a little bit of time. Don't over-think those reviews either. Any kind word can go a long way.
Life is upside down. We're all doing the best we can to survive. I hope you're safe and well, and I wish you strong coffee, long laughs, beautiful days, and wonderful conversations.
Happy Reading!

I have a new favorite now! (Psst-- it's the second one on this list.)

We all have the losses we're grieving. I had my very first trip to Italy scheduled for June. I know it'll still happen, but June is looking more and more unlikely. It may not seem like a big deal, but I've waited my entire life for this. I guess I can wait a little longer. What things are you missing out on? I hope you make space to grieve their loss and know that we're all in this together!

"We’ve been grounded — and gifted an opportunity to go to our rooms and think about what we’ve done, to consider the sort of lives we’ve built. We get to decide if we want to continue them or if we’d like to make some changes. Those changes might look like leaving relationships, starting new ones, leveling up the ones we have, or even growing our families. The impact could equally be on our careers and lifestyles, but relationships in particular will likely experience a sea change."

"All I know is that it feels like the world is ending — even though we know it’s not. If we can empower ourselves to focus on what we can control, we might be able to navigate this crisis with more grace, courage, and peace than we’d have otherwise."
