I worked with kids in the community as a therapist — several years ago. I was there to help them, but I learned so much from seeing the world through their eyes. I didn’t stay in that field, but I admire people who do this work. It’s hard — at times, gut-wrenching. But it’s also powerful and beautiful and important.
